INTERVIEW with KIM STURLA from the ANIMAL PLACE
Animal Place, founded in 1989, is a nonprofit sanctuary for abused and discarded farmed animals. Rescued individuals and indigenous wildlife share 60 acres of forest, meadow, pasture, hills and small lake.
Animal Place is also a humane education center that works to promote cruelty-free lifestyles and veganism. They provide a variety of educational resources for both children and adults that teach kindness and compassion for all creatures, and implement nationwide educational programs such as our Food For Thought, ABC (About Building Compassion) and 5-H campaigns.
